Refunds and disputes
Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy below. If a payment dispute or chargeback is opened, access related to that payment may be suspended while the dispute is investigated.

Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TheAltening, its affiliates, and personnel from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (a) your User Content; (b) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; or (c) your infringement, misappropriation, or violation of any third-party rights.
No Damages
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheAltening will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or relating to any IP enforcement actions against users or content removals performed.
Access Restrictions
Access to the Service is provided solely for legitimate end-user purposes. You may not access the Service to develop, train, benchmark, or improve a competing product or service, nor may you monitor availability, performance, or functionality for competitive purposes. We may deny or revoke access for suspected competitive or bad-faith activity.
No misrepresentation or Bad Faith
You may not create access under false identity, use disposable emails or proxies to conceal affiliation, or purchase access for the purpose of harassment, disruption, legal positioning, or manufacturing a dispute. We may cancel such transactions and suspend access for policy or abuse reasons where permitted by law.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations, warranties, and conditions relating to our website and its use. Nothing in this disclaimer will limit or exclude liability where not permitted by law, including liability for death or personal injury due to negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded.
The limitations and exclusions govern all liabilities arising in contract, tort (including negligence), and breach of statutory duty. Where the website and the information/services are provided free of charge, we will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature.
Refund Policy
We aim to be fair. Refunds are available only when the request and usage fall within the limits below. If you’re unsure whether you qualify, email admin@mail.thealtening.com.
1) Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals. Access remains active through the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise at checkout.
2) Refund eligibility
A refund for a subscription payment is eligible only if all conditions below are met:
- Request window: You request the refund within 72 hours of the successful payment timestamp for the specific charge you want refunded (initial purchase, upgrade, or renewal).
- Usage limit: Fewer than 5 Digital Downloads have been successfully downloaded after that payment timestamp.
- Good standing: The subscription is not suspended or terminated for abuse, fraud, or policy violations at the time of the request.
- No payment dispute: No chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal has been opened for the same transaction.
3) What counts as a “Digital Download”
- A Digital Download is a successful download of a digital asset (for example: texture packs, modpacks, shaders, resource packs) delivered through the Service.
- Failed or errored attempts that do not deliver a file do not count.
- Re-downloading the same asset may still count as usage if it results in a new delivered download event through the Service.
4) How to request a refund
Email admin@mail.thealtening.com from the email used at checkout and include:
- the receipt/invoice ID (or the date/time of the charge)
- the reason for the request (optional, but helpful)
We’ll verify eligibility using purchase and download logs and respond as soon as possible.
5) Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank/card issuer and may take several business days.
6) Disputes
If a chargeback or payment dispute is opened for a transaction, access related to that payment may be suspended while the dispute is investigated.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us
It is TheAltening’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. This Privacy Policy applies tohttps://www.thealtening.com.
Website visitors
We collect non-personally identifying information that browsers and servers typically make available (browser type, language preference, referring site, date and time of requests). IP addresses may be collected for logged-in users and for users leaving comments. We disclose such information only under the same circumstances described for personally-identifying information.

Certain interactions require us to gather personal data. For example, signing up for an account requires a username and email address. We collect only what is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the interaction.

We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, but no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Our service may contain links to external sites not operated by us. Review the privacy policy and terms of every site you visit. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
Aggregated statistics
